'Sandy: the only horse to return to Australia from the First World War' now published

Australian Plays has today published my play about Australia's own warhorse Sandy. It is now available from their website to download from the link below, and they can also arrange licensing of this play. That's a wonderful opportunity for a playwright isn't it? I am so grateful and pleased, and would love to see this play performed again. It had a fantastic premiere season in 2015 with SOOT productions, directed by Christine Davey.

The Hope Song opens 18 September at the Sydney Fringe Festival

Good news from Sydney's Crying Chair Theatre that rehearsals are going well for The Hope Song. I can't wait  to see the creative decisions this company will make with the project. Talented director/actor Socratis Otto (well known and loved from his acting work on the Australian series Wentworth) is at the helm, with a terrific cast including Di Smith, Emma Dalton, Mel Day,  Chantelle Gardiner, Richard Cotter and Grant Lyndon.
Verbatim theatre. Mental health experiences.
